About the role

Colkin Corp' is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Molino Bacoor City Cavite. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential savings and managing budgets effectively
  • Provide expert advice and support to project managers and construction teams on financial and contractual matters
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, final accounts, and other financial documentation
  • Collaborate with the design team to optimise the use of materials and resources
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Civil Engineer
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a quantity surveying role, preferably within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction cost management, contract administration, and project control procedures
  • Proficiency in using software and tools for cost estimation, project management, and quantity surveying
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical solutions
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
