The Corporate HSE Supervisor ensures that all safety guidelines are well observed and followed. Participate and supervise in formulating HSE policies, and procedures needed for government compliance. Monitors all unsafe acts and conditions, incidents, near misses, and loss reports. Conduct safety programs and training to all concerned employees and business units.

Position Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Engineering or any related course
  • PRC license is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in environmental management
  • With good knowledge and excellent understanding of HSE Standards
  • Knowledgeable in doing graphics and research
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • With courses and certification related to HSE
  • With 1 year of relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety
  • With BOSH/COSH, PCO and other specialized related training
  • Relevant experience in documentation, reporting, and conducting of training
  • With excellent leadership skills

Principal Accountabilities:

HSE IMPLEMENTATION

  • Develop, implement, inspect, monitor, and audit of the Health, Safety, Environmental, Efficiency and Reliability Management Systems across all business segments.
  • Assist in the finalization and implementation of HSE policies/procedures and management systems that will reduce accidents and prevent losses.
  • Participate in plant readiness to emergency preparedness and response and communication strategy.
  • Conduct implementation of communication programs/engagement to ensure employee/contractor compliance with HSE policy and guidelines.
  • Plan and conduct cost-efficient strategies for HSE programs.
  • Assist in monitoring and assessment of hazardous and unsafe situations and develop measures to assure personnel safety.
  • Assist in providing advice, information and instruction on HSE concerns.
  • Observe, correct, and investigate unsafe acts, accidents, and near misses.
  • Conduct external and internal training including that of Product Knowledge.
  • Establish a culture of safe working environment.

HSE COMPLIANCE

  • Assist in compliance programs and other SHEER plants to Safety Officers, Pollution Control Officers, company Nurse, First Aiders across all plants, stores and other business units.
  • Assist in government compliance and HSE KPI's compliance wherein data have to be secured from concerned business units.
  • Assist and conduct SHEER training/awareness programs.
  • Assist in the completion of the list register and monitoring/audit for plant-based and facility-based risk assessments.
  • Assist in the enforcement of work stoppage for unsafe work practices and conditions.
  • Conduct performance audit on HSE Compliance.
  • Participate in planning for the training needs based on government and company requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits (scheduled and random inspections) for monitoring of HSE compliance of plants within the area of assignment.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Supervise Safety Officers and Pollution Control Officer on their tasks.
  • Monitor the attendance and working schedule of subordinates

DATA MONITORING & REPORTING

  • Assist in the management statistical review and analysis of injury and incident reports.
  • Handle recording of unsafe acts and conditions, accidents, near misses, and loss.
  • Prepare plant, stores, and technical commercial HSE KPI's statistics reporting.
