SAP Production Planning Supervisor/Lead

Role Summary

This role provides frontline support for manufacturing and supply chain business systems and end-user concerns. The position is responsible for addressing incidents, executing minor enhancements, documenting user requests, and coordinating resolution efforts related to the Manufacturing and Plan-to-Fulfill process areas.

The role supports the IT Service Delivery team in evaluating the demands of business owners, transforming these into logical and technical models, and configuring the IT systems in accordance with manufacturing and supply chain process requirements. This position works closely with end users, vendors, and the internal IT team to maintain reliable and efficient systems supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for IT systems related to Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Supply Chain Execution.
  • Address incidents, service requests, and perform minor enhancements within the Manufacturing / Plan-to-Fulfill domain.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to understand operational requirements and translate them into system configurations or technical solutions.
  • Configure ERP systems (e.g., SAP PP/MM or equivalent modules) to align with production, materials management, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Document change requests, manage user access, and support IT service operations using ITIL-based processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure system stability, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Support system testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews of system changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT service delivery, application support, or business systems support — preferably in Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
  • Basic experience with SAP (PP/MM modules) or similar ERP systems.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing and Plan-to-Fulfill business processes.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, ITIL-based service operations, system configuration, and user access management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to be based in Ortigas or Novaliches, or deployed on-site as required.
