Job Descriptions:

  • Clean, tidy, and service guest rooms daily, following the hotel's standards.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries.
  • Dust and polish furniture, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows.
  • Remove trash and empty ashtrays.
  • Restock guest room amenities, such as tea, coffee, soaps, and bathroom supplies.
  • Inspect rooms for any damage or maintenance issues and report them to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Replenish minibars and handle room service tray pickups.
  • Maintain cleanliness in surrounding areas like hallways and storage rooms.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and linens are stored appropriately and in order.
  • Follow strict safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items, such as extra towels or bedding.
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Amenable to work in Angeles
