Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Department and ensure proper accounting and financial procedures are carried out
  • Maintain full set of accounts as well as verify and approve AP, AR, GL journals;
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management
  • Filing of GST and Annual Income Tax
  • Ensure all cash and banking transactions are accurate, complete and authorised
  • Ensure all internal controls are adhered to and intact
  • Propose new controls and process to improve efficiency
  • Reconcile bank statements in timely manner
  • Prepare cashflow forecast
  • Work with external tax agent, corporate secretary, bankers and insurance companies
  • Degree in Accounting, ACCA Level 3 or Diploma with strong relevant experience
  • At least 2 years working experience
  • Experience with Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) will be a plus
  • Self-motivated individual who is independent and hands-on with a keen eye for detail
