Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Department and ensure proper accounting and financial procedures are carried out
- Maintain full set of accounts as well as verify and approve AP, AR, GL journals;
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management
- Filing of GST and Annual Income Tax
- Ensure all cash and banking transactions are accurate, complete and authorised
- Ensure all internal controls are adhered to and intact
- Propose new controls and process to improve efficiency
- Reconcile bank statements in timely manner
- Prepare cashflow forecast
- Work with external tax agent, corporate secretary, bankers and insurance companies
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA Level 3 or Diploma with strong relevant experience
- At least 2 years working experience
- Experience with Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) will be a plus
- Self-motivated individual who is independent and hands-on with a keen eye for detail
