We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, layout design, power tapping, and creating electrical diagrams, but prior experience in telecom is not mandatory. This role involves working with both onsite and remote teams to support electrical installations, repairs, and optimizations for telecommunications infrastructure.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred. Preferably with NCII Certificate
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in electrical work, including troubleshooting, repair, and layout design.
  • Prior experience in the telecom industry is not required, but familiarity with power systems, signal transmission equipment, or networking hardware is a plus.
  • Knowledge of power tapping for electrical connections in industrial or commercial systems.
  • Experience creating electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, power distribution, and electrical components such as transformers, inverters, and rectifiers.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools and resolving malfunctions in power supply systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical layout design and creating schematics using design software like AutoCAD or Visio.
  • Knowledge of power management for ensuring the safety and stability of telecom equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment and working in elevated or confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and provide on-site support as needed.
