Job description

  • Received and reviewed booking and shipment advise notices for customs clearance and delivery requirement of the client both for Import and Export.
  • Monitor shipment and provide updates to the client on the status of arrival, customs clearance and delivery of the latter's respective cargo.
  • Review and prepare necessary documents for Shipping line endorsement, customs clearance, Government agency processing for regulated goods and secure permits, documents and other related licenses as deemed necessary to clear the cargo.
  • Compute duties and taxes with reference to the shipping documents and in compliance with customs laws, rules and regulations.
  • Classify import and export commodities based on the correct HS code and provide recommendation to client especially for those under regulated import and export scheme.
  • Lodge customs entries and process customs clearance using exiting platform of Bureau of Customs.
  • Request and process funding of shipments for payment of Shipping line, Port and other fees on timely manner.
  • Initiate endorsement process of cargo from shipping lines, by ensuring documents are prepared, correct and funds been secured for payment of respective charges.
  • Provide timely updates and reports to the client for the status of the cargo and delivery advises.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Customs, or any other related courses.
  • Preferably a Licensed Customs Broker but not required.
  • Entry Level, no work experience required
  • Excellent communication skills (all aspects of communication).
  • Average presentation skills.
  • Average knowledge of Microsoft applications, E2M, VASP, and online platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php19,000.00 per month
