Commercial Financial Analyst

Role Summary: The Commercial Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the financial performance of ZALORA's operations in the Philippines and Indonesia, with a strong focus on commercial metrics and inventory analysis. This role will support decision-making by providing actionable insights on sales, profitability, and inventory health, and will work closely with the finance, commercial, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on the financial performance of ZALORA Philippines and Indonesia, including revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margin, and other key commercial metrics.
• Conduct detailed inventory analysis, including stock availability, inventory turnover, write-offs, and obsolescence, to optimize inventory levels and minimize financial risk.
• Support the finance department with data impact analysis for proposed changes, ensuring robust evaluation of potential impacts on financial data and inventory.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track performance against targets and identify trends or variances.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and warehouse operations teams to align on inventory management strategies and commercial initiatives.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for performance improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve commercial processes, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Support annual audits and compliance requirements related to inventory and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with inventory analysis and commercial performance reporting.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
