What You'll Do:

  • Assess new broker applications for completeness and compliance with company policies.
  • Verify broker licensing, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review financial documents and operational history to evaluate credibility and stability.
  • Conduct due diligence checks, including background checks and compliance verifications.
  • Monitor broker adherence to federal, state, and company lending regulations.
  • Approve brokers based on predefined criteria and provide clear documentation of decisions.
  • Maintain detailed records of application evaluations and decisions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for brokers during the application and approval process.
  • Provide guidance and education on company requirements and expectations.
  • Support brokers post-approval with resources to ensure successful partnerships.
  • Generate reports on broker application trends, approval rates, and risk assessments.
  • Update and maintain broker records in the company's CRM or loan origination system
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Graduate of a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is a plus. (Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.)
  • Experience in US mortgage is an advantage
  • With related work experience in banking/finance are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication (verbal and oral) skills is required
  • Must work effectively in a fast pace environment with low tolerance for error.
  • Able to handle a great variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
