The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Nursing Instructor to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is crucial for implementing comprehensive and ethical end-to-end nursing educational programs that adhere to standards of practice and professional regulations.

This role reports directly to the Head of the Nursing Training and Research

What's The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate the abilities and skills in creating education programs based on educational models and principles to facilitate effective teaching and learning of nurses and nursing support staff.
  • Establishes collaborative partnerships with stakeholders in the academe and clinical practice to identify and share best practices, ensuring that standards of nursing practice are consistent across all settings.
  • Exhibits management and leadership skills to be able to incorporate the mission and strategic plan of the institution to educational programs to manage change.
  • Applies the ability to conduct nursing research process and develop critical inquiry to be able to identify and solve educational and practice-based problems to improve client care in partnership with quality improvement.
  • Practices in accordance with the legal principles, code of ethics, and hospital policies to fulfill ethical and legal requirements or nursing regulating and registration body to be able to develop professionalism and professional values as basis for decision making in developing nursing education.

Ideally, a candidate must be a Registered Nurse, with at least nine (9) post-graduate unit in Nursing and have least two (2) years of full-time teaching experience in nursing schools as a clinical instructor.
