Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, and take-offs using CostX.
  • Conduct gap analysis and interpret design & construct documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects (hotels, clubs, pubs), including concrete, steel, and high-level joinery packages.
  • Perform accurate measurement and pricing while maintaining tight turnaround times and high standards.
  • Use Excel for basic reporting and documentation (advanced VBA/macro skills not required).
  • Engage with the team using tools such as Bluebeam for collaboration and documentation reviews.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to design & construct documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of building projects (
    preferably in AU
    ), with experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
  • Proficiency with CostX and basic Excel; Bluebeam experience desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and interpret design gaps.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
