Job Qualifications:

Education – Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Skills

  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Experience - 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, experience with specific industry accounting practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer statements.

Payroll:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Calculate and remit payroll taxes and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.

Auditing & Compliance:

  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations.

Other Duties:

  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
