About the role
KAYA RESTAURANT in Cebu Central Visayas is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant establishment. As a key member of our hospitality and tourism management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and driving the financial success of the restaurant. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen, service, and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient and seamless restaurant operations
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews to build a strong, motivated team
- Monitor and control inventory, budgets, and financial records to maximise profitability
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Engage with customers to receive feedback and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies
- Analyse sales data and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory control
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
