Salary Budget: Php 55,000.00 – 65,000.00 gross salary package

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER

Qualifications as a Civil Design Engineer:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Certification or training in AutoCAD and Civil 3D including the development of standard details and quality processes is a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in civil engineering or civil design engineering with a strong focus on water resources or site development projects.
• Experience preparing civil design drawings with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling is an advantage.
• Ability to create and revise site designs for stormwater, erosion control, and wastewater projects.
• Strong understanding of civil site layout and grading design.
• Competence in developing hydrologic parameters and graphical exhibits.
• Experience with field investigations and data review processes.
• Ability to manage tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience preparing progress reports and communicating effectively with clients.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Capacity to assist project managers with deliverables and project coordination.
• Experience in drafting proposals for the firm
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control processes.
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in drafting proposals and keen attention to detail.
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• Firm understanding of complex concepts
• Ability to communicate technical insights in a clear and actionable manner.

Your responsibilities as a Civil Design Engineer would be:

A. Provide AutoCAD and Civil 3D technical support for water resources projects.

• Perform site design for erosion control, stormwater, water, and wastewater design including Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Provide AutoCAD and Civil 3D support for technical projects.
• Prepare Civil design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D with a minimum guidance and input using the editing and revising process.
• Assist in developing project hydrologic parameters and exhibit content using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Assist with field investigations where feasible.

B. Develop AutoCAD and Civil 3D Standard and Quality Processes.

• Develop written standard AutoCAD and Civil 3D processes to ensure consistency and streamlined operations.
• Train and provide technical support to Environmental and Engineering staff to improve productivity, consistency, and quality.
• Develop standard details.
• Perform reviews of client-supplied data to ensure sufficiency for project tasks.

C. Assist with Project Management

• Ensure assignments and deliverables meet project standards, schedules, and budget.
• Communicate with clients regularly.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Understand budgets and identify when scope/budget requests are needed and make recommendations.
