About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Engineer to join our growing team at WOOSENG STROMATOLITE 1992 INC.'. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of our construction projects within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, contributing to the growth and development of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  • Oversee the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of tasks
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of workmanship to identify and resolve any defects or non-conformances
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting on project progress, milestones, and any relevant health and safety incidents
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and support for the development of construction drawings and specifications
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our construction processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and project management principles
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on site
  • Proficiency in using relevant construction management software and tools
