Role: US Sr. Bookkeeper

Work Arrangement: Work From Home

Location: Any CS Branch - Angeles, Mabalacat, Makati, Ortigas, Tarlac

Schedule: Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management

Capture bills in Dext or vendor systems, code transactions (sales tax, tracking), prepare payment runs, and reconcile AP ledgers.

Transaction Coding & Queries

Code daily bank and payment processor feeds; flag anomalies and communicate clear, actionable questions to clients.

Complex Reconciliations

Manage reconciliations for multi-currency wallets, inventory/COGS, and payment gateways.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

Issue invoices, send customer statements, and follow up on overdue balances.

Month-End Close

Post accruals, prepaids, and depreciation; perform foreign currency revaluations; reconcile all balance-sheet accounts; close and lock monthly periods.

Regulatory Filings

Prepare and file state sales tax returns; compile and issue 1099 vendor reporting.

Fixed Assets

Capitalize additions, run depreciation, and reconcile to the general ledger.

Third-Party Systems & Automation

Configure and troubleshoot integrations across Xero, QuickBooks Online, and common apps like , Gusto, Stripe, and Shopify.

Client Communication

Communicate clearly and promptly with clients via the Visory platform to ensure smooth collaboration and timely resolution of queries

Qualification and requirements:

• 7+ years of bookkeeping experience in the US, ideally with multi-entity or complex SMEs.

• Advanced proficiency in Xero (Advisor Certified) and/or QuickBooks Online.

• Experience with Dext and key third-party apps such as , Gusto, Stripe, Shopify, or Deputy.

• Proven ability to handle complex reconciliations, multi-currency accounting, inventory, and 

cash-flow management.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, index-match).

• Clear written communication with a client-first approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical 

experience).

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

• US Senior Bookkeepers to work local East Coast time

• 7+ years of bookkeeping experience in the US, ideally with multi-entity or complex SMEs.

• Advanced proficiency in Xero (Advisor Certified) and/or QuickBooks Online.

• Experience with Dext and key third-party apps such as , Gusto, Stripe, Shopify, or Deputy.

• Proven ability to handle complex reconciliations, multi-currency accounting, inventory, and cash-flow management.

• Clear written communication with a client-first approach.
