Job Description

  • Perform all aspects of product engineering through the NPI and engineering change process.
  • Deliver robust designs and processes to manufacturing, with a full understanding of product performance, material implications, project cost, and design manufacturability.
  • Appropriate deployment of NPI processes, meeting all design milestones objectives, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication with all (Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, and Production).
  • Develop documentation to support production (work instructions, flow charts, procedures, routings, product labels).
  • Responsibility in resolving issues found during testing and tracking those issues.
  • Demonstrate and own production readiness and document same via the RTP (release to production) checklist.
  • Provides problem-solving and technical assistance to manufacturing operations to resolve process control issues for new processes.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of engineers and technicians
  • Plan the manpower support with respect to the process involved in building products.
  • Deploy qualified personnel to areas that requires immediate support.
  • Assist the Engineering Executive in laying out plans for the group as to the activities and projects to accomplish.
  • Coordinates with customer for new product development and improvements.
  • Coordinates to the progress of the material, machine and process qualification of the new product development.
  • Coordinates to different support groups to get their assistance in achieving team's goal.
  • Creates and updates process and control plan specification if needed
  • Writes technical reports and correspondence to effectively document and archive the process problem history
  • Assist sustaining group when needed
