Part-time CPA Accountant (Retail & Inventory Focus) 25 Hours Weekly Only

We are looking for a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong experience in retail, inventory, and cost accounting. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, manages retail and e-commerce accounting workflows, oversees inventory valuation, and supports management with strategic financial analysis.

The ideal candidate understands the rhythm of a retail brand—fast-moving goods, high SKU turnover, promotions, returns, and cost tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Inventory Accounting

  • Oversee inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliation across warehouse, retail, and online platforms.
  • Monitor stock movement, shrinkage, adjustments, and COGS.
  • Implement systems that improve inventory accuracy and financial visibility.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure data alignment.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Prepare management reports including margins, profitability, variance analysis, and expense tracking.

Accounts Management

  • Manage accounts payable & receivable.
  • Oversee expense monitoring, vendor payments, and purchase order tracking.
  • Review payroll entries and statutory contributions accuracy.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Track spending vs budget and alert management on financial risks.
  • Analyze cost efficiencies for retail operations and production.

Compliance & Audit

  • Handle BIR filings, tax compliance, and necessary documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records.

Retail Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with operations, retail, logistics, and production teams.
  • Provide insights on pricing, margins, promotions, and SKU performance.
  • Recommend improvements in financial workflow and inventory processes.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — Required
  • At least 3+ years experience in retail or inventory-heavy businesses
  • Strong understanding of COGS, inventory valuation, and SKU-based accounting
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave)
  • Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clear financial insights

Employment Details & Location Preference:

We prefer applicants based in Antipolo or nearby cities for easier daily commute and fast coordination.

Part Time Work Schedule (25 hours Weekly)

  • 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Overtime pay for approved OT
  • Monday to Friday
