About the role

Equicom Solutions Inc' is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee Disbursement Team
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors
  • Prepare Budget and Cash Position Report
  • Manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work
  • Review and approve invoices, expense reports and other payables, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Produce detailed reports and analysis related to accounts payable activities
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and finance, to address payables-related inquiries and concerns
  • Continually look for ways to improve accounts payable processes and implement streamlined, efficient practices
  • Financial Statement Preparation and BIR Compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR and other government related offices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization. CPA preferably.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable best practices and internal control procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proficient in using accounting software and technology to improve efficiency
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
