What's The Role All About?

Performs the assigned task needed for operation and in the event of flight delays and disruptions. Performs thorough analysis of flight disruptions caused by a PR aircraft and manages the rectification thereof. Coordinates with the relevant PAL TOD Divisions for thorough evaluation of recurring remarks.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in a technical or engineering role
  • Licensed Engineer is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Prior experience in line maintenance or related operational support functions is an advantage

Major Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight and control of the outsourced Line Maintenance by the contracted maintenance provider in MNL and outstations for the PR Fleet
  • Direct oversight and control of outsourced Maintenance Services - Maintenance Control, AOG handling, flight mechanic services, etc.
  • Monitors and control implementation of Maintenance programs, modification, repairs, compliance of Airworthiness Directives, and time limited AMM procedure and conformance for the PR Fleet
  • Act as the Technical Operations Department administrative officer during weekends, holidays and beyond normal office hours
  • Coordination on aircraft availability / unavailability to IOCC (Integrated Operations Control Center). To provide recommendation on aircraft changes in coordination with Maintenance Provider's Maintenance Control Center
  • To comply with applicable regulations and standards of Philippine Airlines; actively involves with Safety Management System by reporting all accidents, incidents, and any hazard in the workplace; and being safety conscious by exercising duty of care in the performance of duties
  • Serves as the Technical Operations Admin Officer during weekends, holidays, and outside regular office hours. Responsible for providing technical decision-making support to ensure smooth and safe line operations
