We're looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to help us grow and engage our online community across multiple platforms.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: PHP

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Irvine, CA Time

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Industry: Healthcare / Orthodontics

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and post engaging video content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage the organic social media presence by developing and maintaining a consistent content calendar.
  • Optimize video content for maximum reach and engagement without paid promotion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with brand messaging and campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant video styles and formats.
  • Respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement.
  • Track and analyze organic social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Support other organic content creation efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience creating content for social media and managing social media accounts
  • Proven experience in video creation, editing, and posting on TikTok and other social media platforms
  • Strong understanding of organic social media growth strategies
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Familiarity with social media platforms' best practices and algorithms
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare or orthodontics marketing is a plus
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva
  • Ability to create engaging captions and organic growth tactics
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
