Position: Regulatory Compliance & Tax Officer

Scope of Role:

Responsible for managing all BIR tax filing and compliance requirements, and handling all permits, licenses, renewals, and regulatory documents needed for company and branch operations. Ensures timely processing, no penalties, and full alignment with national and local government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

BIR / TAX Compliance

  • Prepare, file, and upload all relevant BIR Forms (e.g., 2550M/Q, 1601C, 2307, 1701, 1702Q, 0619E/F, 2316, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate and timely eFPS/eBIR uploads and payments
  • Reconcile 2307s and coordinate with clients or third parties for collection
  • Assist during BIR audits and Letter of Authority (LOA) responses
  • Maintain updated BIR folders and compliance logs per entity

Permits & Licenses (LGU, Barangay, Regulatory)

  • Process new and renewal of:
  • Barangay Clearance
  • Mayor's Permit
  • Sanitary Permit
  • Locational Clearance
  • Fire Safety Inspection Certificate (FSIC)
  • DOLE, DTI, SEC, FDA, BFAD, etc. (as applicable)
  • Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Accounting for documents needed
  • Ensure all business permits are updated and displayed per branch
  • Prepare Permit Tracker Calendar with alerts for expirations
  • Handle on-site LGU visits and represent the company when needed

Internal Reporting

  • Submit monthly status report on all tax and regulatory filings
  • Maintain digital & hard copies of permits/licenses and BIR submissions
  • Alert management of upcoming deadlines or non-compliance risks
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure documentary readiness

Standard Forms / Tools Used:

  • BIR eFPS, eBIR Forms, RELIEF/Alphalist system
  • SEC/DTI portals, LGU portals (if applicable)
  • Excel-based compliance calendar
  • Master Permit Tracker
  • Government receipts, tax folders, 2307 files, etc.

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in BIR tax compliance + business registration
  • Familiar with eFPS, eBIR, manual filing and audit coordination
  • Knowledgeable in permit processing with LGUs & regulatory bodies
  • Willing to travel to branches, city halls, RDOs, and satellite offices
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
