RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of accounting staff and/OR accounting specialists.
  • Review and validate journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely filing of BIR requirements such as VAT (2550M/Q), Withholding Tax (1601-E), Income Tax (1702), and other statutory reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including general ledger review.

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, controls, and relevant tax regulations.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies during audits or financial reviews.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.
  • Recommend improvements in accounting systems and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role

Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation laws and BIR regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
