Job Title: Freelance Accountant / Bookkeeper

Type: Freelance / Project-Based

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Freelance Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and maintain accurate records for our business. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and proficient in bookkeeping software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements
  • Prepare and manage invoices, bills, and payroll
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Generate monthly financial reports and summaries
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing deadlines
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
  • Provide insights into financial performance and cost control

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping (3+ years preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, Zoho Books)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with tax laws and filing processes
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Previous experience working with clients remotely

Compensation:

  • Competitive and negotiable based on experience and scope of work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
