Occupational Physician

The Occupational Health Physician Consultant is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees. This includes conducting medical assessments, implementing wellness programs, managing occupational health services, and ensuring compliance with DOLE standards and workplace safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain employees' health and well-being
• Conduct health talks, seminars, workshops, and wellness activities
• Organize and oversee occupational health and safety programs
• Perform physical exams to assess employees' fitness for work
• Provide medical care to restore health and work capacity
• Maintain and analyze medical records; assist with DOLE reports (DOLE/BWC/OH-47)
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations to minimize workplace risks
• Advise management and employees on health matters in line with legal standards

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physician with specialization or training in Occupational Medicine
• Must have DOLE-recognized training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
• Must have a holistic approach to employee health—focused on preventive care and wellness rather than reactive treatment
• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in occupational or corporate health
• Preferably affiliated with Intellicare HMO
• Knowledgeable in DOLE standards and reporting requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to collaborate effectively with HR, Safety, and Management teams
• Committed to upholding workplace safety and employee wellness
• Maintains high standards of integrity and ensures strict confidentiality of employee health information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php12, Php15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 4 per week
