Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for all internal IT-related matters at Radenta. This hands-on role is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, networks, and systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, providing timely and effective technical support to all employees, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our daily business activities.

Key Responsibilities

HELPDESK & TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and software (Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, internal applications).
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including account creation/deletion and equipment setup/retrieval.

NETWORK & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION:

• Install, configure, and maintain the company's Local Area Network (LAN), Wi-Fi networks, and other network infrastructure to ensure stable connectivity.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and access controls.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.
• Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and systems.

MIS & ASSET MANAGEMENT:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all company IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.
• Manage data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for procurement of IT equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or network administration role.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.
• Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer-service oriented mindset with a high degree of patience and professionalism.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
