About the role

Axos Business Center Corp. is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the collections process and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively reach out to customers with outstanding payments to negotiate resolutions and facilitate payment arrangements
  2. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and collection activities
  3. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and identify potential issues
  4. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall collections process
  5. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to collections
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of collections strategies and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably in the call centre or finance industry
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully
  3. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  5. Familiarity with collections processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
  6. Proficient in using relevant software and tools to support the collections function
