Site selection, acquisition, development, design, construction, furniture manufacturing, laundry and property management are all looked after by our in-house teams which translates to higher standards in our properties, service, and customer expectations.

What You'll Do
Finance ERP will assess the current state of our ERP system (currently QuickBooks Online), design and build guidelines, processes, reporting tools and reconciliations to enable full integration of the ERP system into all company software and operations. The ultimate goal: to have the ERP system fully operational for month-end accounting closure and support of all modules (Finance-Accounting, operational reporting, revenue, property performance) in a property-management / short-term-rental business environment. The hospitality background of the business is a plus and will help in understanding industry-specific operational flows.
- Assess and document the current status of the ERP system (QuickBooks Online) as used across the business: what modules are configured, what workflows exist, what data flows and integrations need to be fixed and resolved.
- Map all relevant business processes (finance, accounting, property management operations, short-term rental operations, vendor management, receivables/payables, fixed assets, cost allocation) and identify how they should flow through the ERP system.
- Develop and build (or define for implementation) configuration of the ERP system and related modules: setup of the chart of accounts, dimensions, entity structures, user roles/permissions, workflows, automation of data entry where possible, reconciliations, vendor/payment workflows, fixed assets, inter-company flows, property/ unit cost & revenue tracking.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards enabling accurate, timely financial and operational information: e.g. real-time revenue by property/unit, cost by property/unit, month-end close pack, variance analysis, KPI dashboards for operations + finance.
- Set up accurate information flows and reconciling mechanisms between the ERP system and other systems/data sources (for example property management software, operations modules, vendor management/payables, bank feeds). Ensure data integrity, audit trail, control environment.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and operations teams to ensure adoption and alignment of system usage, train end users, develop user guides, SOPs (in line with your ongoing SOP framework).
- Define the closing process and ensure the ERP supports and streamlines the month-end accounting closure: general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, cost allocations, revenue recognition and management reporting.
- Identify gaps in functionality, process inefficiencies, manual workarounds and lead solutions (configuration, automation, integration, process redesign) to improve efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide documentation: process flows, configuration guides, reconciliation/close checklists, user manuals, training materials.
- Establish baseline metrics, project timelines and milestones: track progress, risks, dependencies, and ensure delivery.
- If required, liaise with third-party vendors or consultants (e.g. property management system, payment gateway, bank feeds, etc.) to ensure the ERP integrates seamlessly with operational systems.
- Ensure system changes are consistent with internal control requirements, audit readiness, compliance and scalability for future growth.
- Provide change management and adoption support: assist users in transition, help embed new workflows, monitor usage and champion continuous improvement beyond go-live.

What You'll Bring
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience implementing or configuring ERP systems (especially financial modules) and strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cost allocations, reconciliations).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems/Technology or related field.
Other qualifications:
- Proven experience assessing system status, defining "to-be" processes and executing configuration and reporting build out.
- Strong understanding of financial, accounting and operational workflows, ideally in hospitality, property rental / short-term rental / real estate operations or services environment (this is an asset).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud-based ERP/finance systems; comfortable with chart of accounts design, dimension/segment structures, data flows, integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate business/process needs into system requirements and configuration.
- Strong project management skills: able to define timeline, deliverables, stakeholder dependencies, track progress, manage risk.
- Excellent communication skills: able to work with finance team, operations/property management team, IT/vendors, produce documentation/training materials, facilitate user adoption.
- Experience building or defining reports, dashboards, management information systems; comfortable with data integrity, reconciliation logic, control environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks in a dynamic business environment.
- Experience with integrations (e.g., vendor payments, bank feeds, property management systems) is preferred.
- Experience in the hospitality industry or in short-term rental/property management operations: understanding of revenue per unit, occupancy, cost per unit, operations cycles, vendor services, seasonal fluctuations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ERP/finance tools beyond QuickBooks (e.g. NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One) or with custom integrations.
- Understanding of automation tools (APIs, bank feeds, data connectors) and ability to liaise with technical resources.
- Experience with developing training programs, user adoption strategies, and managing change.
- Certification such as CPA (or equivalent accounting designation) is an asset.
- Knowledge of internal controls / audit requirements in a growth business environment.

Contract & Working Conditions
- This is a fixed-term contract for 10 months.
- The role will report to the Finance Controller and will collaborate closely with finance, operations/property management, IT and external vendors/consultants.
- The role may require work during close periods or system go-live cut-overs, with flexibility in hours.
- This is a target-delivery role: success will be measured by achieving the milestones of ERP assessment → guideline & configuration build → reporting tools build → integration & reconciliations implemented → system ready for month-end close operations by the end of the contract.
