  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/ Engineering or any related business course.
  • Applicants with experience in a similar position (for an FMCG company) is an advantage

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is responsible for the development of a robust demand forecast (sales-to-trade)and the corresponding supply forecast/plan while closely coordinating with the marketing team, national distributor and suppliers.

  1. Demand Forecasting of Sales-to-trade (STT)

  2. Demand Forecasting of Sales-to-distributor (STD)

  3. Supply/ Purchase Forecasting

  4. Supply adjustments

  5. Lead Demand Review and Supply Review Meetings

  6. Lead weekly supply and demand alignment with distributor

  7. Others

  8. New Products – Agree with marketing on initial demand forecast for new products, coordination on initial distribution strategy

  9. Generate latest estimates for STT and SIV for the month based on historical benchmarks
  10. Generation of reports/ presentations as needed related to historical sales, forecasts.
  11. Generate scenarios and what-ifs based on different sets of assumptions on promotion lifts, actual sales assumptions
  12. Provide supply scenarios and updates as needed to Marketing and other stakeholders.
  13. Attend meetings as needed.
  14. Other reports as needed
