Position Title: BIM Mechanical Drafter / Engineer (Revit & AutoCAD – HVAC & BIM)

Work Schedule:

• Time Range: Between 7 AM – 7 PM CST (Graveyard shift)
• Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
• Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

As a BIM Mechanical Drafter / Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining mechanical and HVAC models within a BIM workflow. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across disciplines, while producing precise technical drawings and documentation that meet industry and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate mechanical and HVAC models using Revit and AutoCAD in a BIM environment.
• Produce accurate construction documentation and detailed technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure proper system integration.
• Maintain model accuracy and consistency across project stages.
• Support project delivery by providing technical revisions and documentation updates as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working on mechanical or HVAC projects (8+ years preferred).
• Proven expertise with Revit and AutoCAD in BIM workflows.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, particularly HVAC.
• Experience producing and interpreting detailed technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.

Must-Haves

• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Solid knowledge of BIM workflows and standards.
• Practical experience in HVAC system design and drafting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote, independent setting.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines with high-quality output.

Technical Requirements

• Desktop/Laptop with Intel Core i5 (or higher) processor.
• Minimum 8GB RAM (16GB+ preferred).
• Stable internet connection with a backup option.
• Quiet and dedicated home workspace.
• Headset with noise cancellation for virtual meetings.
• Backup power source (UPS or alternative) is an advantage.
