Cash Application Representative

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Representative to join our team. This role is part of the Cash Application unit, which manages the accurate recording, reconciliation, and resolution of customer payments across the company, its subsidiaries, and affiliates.

As a Cash Application Representative, you will be responsible for applying customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that accounts are accurate and up to date. You will work closely with internal teams and may eventually support customers directly through calls, email, or chat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately apply customer payments to accounts and invoices.
  • Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with payments by coordinating with internal teams (sales, finance, and other departments).
  • Ensure all transactions are processed correctly and meet company standards for accuracy.
  • Provide internal support to the HSI sales team and other departments.
  • (Future scope) Assist customers directly through voice, email, or chat support regarding payment issues.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams (and eventually external customers).
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of finance, accounting, or payment processing is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools; experience with ERP or accounting systems is a plus.
