AT A GLANCE (OVERVIEW)

As a Merchandising Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of merchandising, from assortment management to pricing and promotions planning and market analysis. Aside from the Merchandising team, you will work closely with Brand Marketing and Supply Chain teams and help achieve the company's sales and inventory goals

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Category Management

  • Assist in researching and selecting product lines that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to analyze sales performance and make recommendations for future assortments. Work closely with the brand marketing team to support product launches, promotions, and campaigns.

Sales Reporting

  • Collect and analyze sales data to generate weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the merchandising team on sales trends and product performance.
  • Assist in presenting findings to the team to inform merchandising strategies and promotional activities.

Market Analysis

  • Conduct competitive research to identify industry trends, emerging competitors, and consumer behavior patterns.
  • Compile insights and present findings to the team to inform product development and merchandising strategies.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to the merchandising team, including organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining project timelines.
  • Help with miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the overall merchandising operations.

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in fashion and retail, particularly in eyewear and accessories.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
