About the role

DL Public Relations is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Network Engineer to join our team. In this full-time position based in Pasay City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-level network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives and driving innovation within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, identifying and resolving problems to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies and implement solutions that enhance network capabilities
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior network engineers and IT staff
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to our network infrastructure

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Lead Network Engineer or a senior-level network administrator
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless technologies
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and industry standards
  • Proficient in network analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and organisational goals
