The Area Sales Manager (ASM) develops business plans and strategies for the area, to achieve company objectives. The ASM manages sales operation including the following: supervises the sales team, defines and maintains administrative and operational work procedures and processes, oversees the day-to-day operations and provides back-up support to sales supervisor and supervisors of other departments. The ASM helps in creating strong, positive public image for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned area.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a motivated sales team, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets, providing regular reports and making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring resource allocation and expense control.
  • Oversee the entire sales team in (NCR AREA)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • With more than 5 years' experience in the sales manager field
