We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Data Entry Clerk to support the Finance Team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate and organized financial records, ensuring data integrity, and supporting daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and verify financial data in accounting systems and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Review and reconcile entries against invoices, receipts, and source documents.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; coursework or certification in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in data entry, ideally in an accounting or finance department.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities and working both independently and collaboratively.
