DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network & Cloud Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available network and cloud infrastructures that support business operations. The Network & Cloud Engineer will ensure the reliability and performance of on-premises and cloud-based environments, provide technical expertise for deployments, and deliver ongoing support to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, cloud platforms, and security best practices.   You will report directly into the Head of Global Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

• Network Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, availability, and security.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Ensure network resilience and disaster recovery readiness.
• Cloud Infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Support hybrid and multi-cloud environments and integrate with on-premises systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Optimize cloud costs, scalability, and performance.
• Security & Compliance
  • Implement and manage network and cloud security controls (e.g., IAM, firewalls, encryption).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and security monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regional regulations.
• Operations & Support
  • Provide L2/L3 support for network and cloud-related incidents and requests.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver reliable connectivity and application hosting.
  • Maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3+ years of experience in network and/or cloud engineering.
• Strong foundation in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing protocols).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience managing firewalls, routers, switches, and security controls.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
• Certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure, CompTIA, etc.) are a big plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
