Job Description – Light and Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position Summary:

The Light and Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various light and heavy equipment used in construction projects. This role ensures all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on light and heavy equipment (e.g., trucks, loaders, backhoes, forklifts, etc.).
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts replacements.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with operators and site supervisors to identify equipment concerns.
  • Monitor inventory of spare parts and request replacements as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures during repair and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • With NCII Certification in Automotive Servicing or Heavy Equipment Servicing.
  • At least 2–5 years of work experience as a mechanic in construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in project site environments.
  • Willing to be assigned in Mexico, Pampanga or other project sites as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
