Job Summary:

The QA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality assurance operations to ensure products meet established standards of quality, safety, and consistency. This role involves supervising QA staff, implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the QA team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Implement and enforce QA policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of manufacturing practices and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances; lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Supply Chain) to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and test records.
  • Support customer audits, third-party inspections, and regulatory agency visits.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, or FDA regulations (depending on industry).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software/tools.
