JOB SUMMARY

  • Leads process improvement and technical projects while ensuring environmental protection and safety.
  • Collaborates with customers, departments, and sections to plan and implement technical projects and improvements that align with production needs.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting to maintain efficient and cost-effective plant operations.
  • Assists customers with technical concerns when necessary.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, supervises, and conducts experiments related to technical projects.
  • Oversees the commissioning of equipment and systems within the section.
  • Prepares technical reports for management as required.
  • Monitors and tracks the progress of technical projects, addressing issues and concerns promptly.
  • Manages and maintains the technical pilot plant and related equipment.
  • Works closely with customers to resolve concerns efficiently.
  • Conducts process audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures the Specifications Manual is regularly updated and maintained.
  • Coordinates with the QA Section to optimize QA/Technical Department operations.
  • Assumes the role of QA Supervisor in their absence when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (Licensed).
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a technical or R&D role.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in process engineering tools such as SPC, Lean Management, and Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
