Job Description: Property Management Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Property Management Accountant to join our team. The role is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of property management, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations. This position will support property managers and stakeholders by providing financial insights that help optimize property performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned properties, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for property owners and management.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including tenant billing and collections.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and journal adjustments.
  • Ensure proper recording of rental income, tenant deposits, lease incentives, and other property-related transactions.
  • Track property budgets and actual expenditures, preparing variance analyses and forecasts.
  • Process and review operating expense recoveries, common area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, and property taxes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in preparing tax schedules as required.
  • Collaborate with property managers, leasing teams, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, QuickBooks, MRI, or similar).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to work in a day or GY shift
  • Willing to work as an Independent Contractor
  • Applicant must have their own equipment for a permanent WFH setup

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
