We are looking for a Junior System Engineer who will play a key role in supporting, managing, and maintaining our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware, and Microsoft 365 management. You will assist in server setup, patching, user management, and ensuring system security and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage Windows Servers and related services.
  • Set up and maintain Active Directory environments including users, groups, and policies.
  • Perform Windows Server patching and ensure systems are up to date and compliant.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and security settings.
  • Handle physical server setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain server security measures from the ground up.
  • Monitor and manage virtual environments using VMware or similar platforms.
  • Support and troubleshoot Dynamics or similar enterprise systems.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and security across all managed environments.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a System Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server setup, configuration, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (user creation, licensing, policies).
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of VMware or other virtualization technologies.
  • Experience setting up and securing physical and virtual servers.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with server hardening and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals and IT security best practices.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
