Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Home-Based AP Clerk to support our U.S.-based client in the promotional products industry. In this role, you'll handle the full cycle of vendor invoice processing, ensure accuracy and compliance in all AP functions, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES
- Detail-Oriented: Strong accuracy in processing vendor invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication with vendors and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple invoices, payment schedules, and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled at resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issues promptly.
- Customer-Focused: Maintains positive client relationships while ensuring timely collections and compliance with accounting standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly
- Resolve discrepancies between vendor bills and payments by coordinating with vendors and internal teams
- Verify terms, payment methods, and compliance with company policies
- Maintain vendor records, ensuring accuracy and updates
- Respond to vendor inquiries and provide solutions as needed
- Perform other accounts payable and accounting-related duties as assigned
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in an office or accounting role with a focus on accounts payable
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken Spanish Language and English communication skills.
- Work Schedule: Available to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time (aligned with U.S. business hours).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel – pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.)
- Familiarity with databases and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Familiarity with relevant computer applications and financial reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work well with internal teams and vendors.
- Proficient in Spanish Language
