Duties & Responsibilities

IT Asset and License Management (Software & Hardware)

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of hardware and software models in the Definitive Media Library (DML), from their introduction to their retirement.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of all IT hardware and software.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of Configuration Items (CIs) and assets, including dependencies and attributes.
  • Compliance and Recording: Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses using different software tools to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
  • License Optimization: Manage IT hardware and software assets covering end-user devices, multiple license types, software suites, entitlements, and the upgrade and downgrade of licenses to ensure best-fit licensing.
  • Audit Management: Manage all activities concerning license compliance audits to effectively respond to requests from software editors.

Configuration Management (CMDB) & Improvement

  • CMDB Accuracy: Ensure the effective management of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and guarantee that the content contained is accurate.
  • CI Integrity: Ensure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing CIs are correctly recorded by the responsible teams in the tools to maintain compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing strategies for technology spending and tracking company assets within the CMDB throughout their lifecycle.

Procurement and Governance

  • Procurement Support: Create and aid with requisitions within the Technology unit.
  • Documentation: Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience managing complex hardware and software inventories and lifecycles.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT licensing models and ensuring software license compliance.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience managing and governing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to enforce standards and policies across multiple teams.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
