Accounts Receivable Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to oversee AR operations, ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections, maintain financial controls, and lead a team of 10–15 staff. This role requires strong leadership, accounting expertise, and proficiency in ERP systems to drive process efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience (managing 10–15 FTEs)
  • Experience working with accepted accounting principles and accounting software
  • Must have large ERP AR system experience
  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, clients, and upper management
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the support team, management, and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for activities and operations in the accounts receivable function of the organization
  • Reviews and approves customer invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitors and follows up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections
  • Reconciles accounts, investigates discrepancies, and resolves billing/payment issues
  • Maintains accurate financial records, aging reports, and control reports
  • Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in a highly transactional environment
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of AR processes and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of the accounts receivable function under supervision
