FINANCE MANAGER

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities, including strategy, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team leadership, to ensure the fiscal health and growth of the organization. This role requires providing crucial financial insights and ensuring strict compliance with all local and international financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that align with the company's long-term business objectives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the company-wide budgeting and financial forecasting process. Challenge assumptions and identify strategic opportunities and risks.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, for executives and shareholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast and provide actionable recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure robust internal controls and strict adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and Philippine tax laws (BIR, SEC).
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage the company's cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee banking relationships.
  • M&A and Strategic Initiatives: Provide financial due diligence and support for strategic growth initiatives, such as potential mergers, acquisitions, or expansion projects.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a business partner to department heads, offering financial insights and guidance to support operational decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Certification: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and financial software (e.g., Xero). Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Asana) is desirable.
