About the role

Join the finance team at Holiday Plaza Hotel as a Finance Supervisor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily financial operations and preparing accurate financial reports. Based in the vibrant city of Cebu, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and success of this leading hotel in the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise the accounting team and ensure proper recording of financial transactions
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  3. Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal financial policies
  5. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls
  6. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  3. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work in a team and lead a finance department
  7. Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
