About the Role
This is a pure sales role, responsible for taking inbound and making outbound sales calls. You'll be the voice of KickAss Australia — helping customers select the right products, closing sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint.
You'll work closely with our Australian Head Office team and collaborate with other departments to develop expert knowledge of our 12V product range.
This is a work-from-home position, so you'll need a dedicated quiet workspace, high-speed internet, and a professional computer setup capable of handling multiple systems and calls efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales Calls
- Handle inbound sales inquiries with confidence and professionalism.
- Provide expert product advice tailored to customer needs.
- Close sales effectively and accurately log interactions in our CRM (Gorgias).
Outbound Sales Calls
- Proactively follow up with warm leads, past customers, and abandoned carts.
- Upsell or cross-sell complementary products and promote new releases.
Customer Relationship Building
- Build strong rapport with Australian customers by understanding their off-grid needs and providing practical, tailored solutions.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of KickAss products to provide accurate recommendations and technical information.
Sales Reporting
- Record sales activities, call outcomes, and customer feedback within the CRM system to track performance and pipeline opportunities.
Customer Feedback & Reputation
- Encourage happy customers to leave positive reviews and feedback, helping strengthen brand reputation.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Minimum 2 years of inbound and outbound sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of 12V power systems, 4WD setups, or camping gear.
- Confident communicator with excellent English verbal and written skills.
- Experience using CRM / eCommerce tools (e.g., Gorgias, Shopify, Zendesk, or similar).
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Reliable home office setup - including high-speed internet, quiet environment, and professional-grade headset and computer.
Desirable
- Engineering or technical degree.
- Proven success in phone-based sales, ideally with an Australian customer base.
- Knowledge or personal interest in the camping, 4WD, or off-grid lifestyle.
- Experience selling technical products online or over the phone.
