We are seeking a writer with exceptional writing, research, and organizational skills to support the Business Development proposal department. Reporting to the Director of Proposal Operations, this position will be responsible for developing content and completing writing assignments in relation to business development activities. Looking for a positive individual who is eager to be part of a team, enthusiastic about developing general and technical content, is able to work effectively and efficiently as an individual and as a team member, has an ability to understand/follow direction, is able to meet tight deadlines, adjust to rapidly changing priorities, and accept constructive feedback.

Primary Responsibilities

*Developing content for the proposal department to answer RFx requests

*Writing case studies, past performance narratives, white papers, capabilities statements, marketing material

*Drafting narrative from bullet points, summaries, and technical discussions

*Formatting, proofreading, and finalizing outgoing writing assignments 

*Drafting boilerplate content when not working on other assignments

*Assist Director setting up meetings, sending breakout documents/emails 

*Attending and assisting during proposal and general business development meetings

*Making annotated outlines/drafts from RFx initial documents

*Interviewing SMEs to draft content

*Translating solution design points into high level diagrams
