Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Create and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, system configurations, operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and process flows.
  2. Researches, develops and documents technical design specifications.
  3. Produces electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
  4. Maintains a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
  5. Analyzes documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
  6. Manages updates and revisions to technical literature.
  7. Determines the type of publication that will best serve the project requirements.
  8. Plans writing processes and sets timelines and deadlines. .
  9. Assesses the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business course, IT, Industrial Engineering.
  2. Over 3 years of related experience in IT setting/industry as technical writer.
  3. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud technologies, databases, and security protocols.
  4. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  5. Able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Must be keen on details, able to work independently or in a team.
  7. Able to quickly establish good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
