Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 -years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the food and beverage/restaurant/food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and sourcing best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing/ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for food products, packaging, equipment, and other materials.
  • Ensure consistent supply of high-quality raw materials and ingredients at competitive prices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring performance and compliance with contracts.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to recommend cost-saving strategies.
  • Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to align purchasing with business needs.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with warehouse/production teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement and uphold food safety standards and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
